ARCTIC CONNECTION

When moving to Rankin we knew we would be involved in Hockey,
but to what extent we weren't quite sure!

Some of Jim's most memorable memories are the creation of the Polar Bear Plate & Junior B Hockey, becoming the first president of Hockey North governing
both Nunavut & N.W.T, and of course the arrival of the Stanley Cup -
which came right from Tampa Bay, Florida to Rankin Inlet in one day.

Many hours were put into contributing to Hockey in the North
and we wouldn't have changed that for anything.
